An exciting new development for 2011 IBW is the inclusion of National Reading Group Day on Saturday 25th June. If you are a bookseller, why don’t you organise a children’s reading group and celebrate this year’s independent bookselling with a series of fantastic activity sheets and resources for children? You can download and print out as many as you want.
We have some fantastic Octonauts colouring and activity sheets with your favourite underwater characters. And if you have a crowd of Big Nate fans, why don’t you download some hilarious puzzles from the Big Nate Boredom Buster?
Or why don’t you read Little Manfred, Michael Morpurgo’s latest novel? We have some activity sheets for this too!
We also have Octonauts posters, and more posters featuring Up and Down (yes, Oliver Jeffers’ heart-warming story of friendship and love), and Dancing Jax postcards (yes, Dancing Jax – by Master of Horror Robin Jarvis) and some gorgeous Emily the Strange bookmarks. If you would like some of these freebies – contact us at spilltheink@harpercollins.co.uk. Good luck! And don’t forget to send us pictures!
