The Cat in the Hat is enjoying his fantastic roadshow and on Saturday he’s made his appearance at the Nantwich Bookshop – Cheshire, where he was met by a crowd of over 40 children.
Thing 1 and Thing 2 were with him on this occasion! Apparently they were the result of sibling jealousy (elder sister in the costume) and we think they were pretty good additions…
Storytellers read Seussian tales and the ‘Cat’ mischievously led the children around the pedestrianised town centre. He then retired to drink milk from a giant saucer…
Where is the Cat going next? Well, if you are in the vicinity of Chorleywood on Saturday the 18th June, you might be able to spot his hat and read stories with him.
